At the invitation of Cité des sciences et de l’industrie (Paris), Anne Nguyen created one of the installations presented in the immersive exhibition DANSER: the TOURNER installation. The immersive exhibition DANSER invites the onlooker to get out of their usual role of explorer and puts them into motion as they dance through the exhibition. This four-part path is articulated around four dance principles (jump, spin, walk, meet) and ends with an introspective moment: “chill”.

With the TOURNER installation, Anne Nguyen brings the public though three successive cylindrical structures displaying three videos that immerse them into different primary dance universes. First, an urban dances cypher, then a circle of African traditional and urban dances, and finally a circle of playful duets: the audience is set into motion by the dancers who are projected life-size in front of them, as they are prompted to reproduce dance moves, to interact with them and to create their own dance.
